I am back. I am determined to get better at this blogging thing. I know, I need to rotate the pics...next time. This is shot of Jonas, early morning in the stroller when we go on walks. He has that dazed look, but not about to go to bed look too.

Back to Blogging...
Wow, It has been a LONG time since I came here. After three months of traveling, Todd is home as of Thanksgiving Day, and so is the MAC that I blog on and have pictures. So where do I begin to catch up over the last four months?! Jonas has changed so much. He is adorable! . He got all of his crying out in July and August and is finally here and ready to show off his personality! There are way too many pictures to post of him (we are the typically first time parents (snap happy camera freaks). I am sure we have enough pictures to have frames for a lengthy movie titled "Jonas in the Bath" or "Jonas on the floor" or "Jonas doing nothing". Each would be equally entertaining.
However, I thought I would take some of the favorites and post them. This was in September. This is when I decided it was time to stop holding him and start doing more tummy time. He had obviously never seen grass or this perspective of the world...
Todd finally came home on Thanksgiving....

Summer Highlights
lunch with his grandma cox...
One of my favorite highlights of summer was hiking in Utah. I didn't realize how much I miss the mountains. This is on July 10th or so... Check out the wildflowers!
Jonas with his great granddad on the fourth of July.
These are a few of the pictures that my darling sister-in-law took of Jonas. We are using them for a baby announcement. Some of you will see it soon, if I ever get on the ball and send them out! Thanks Kristi!
Todd is HOME!

Days with Jonas

Baby Jonas has arrived!
Well, He is here...and he is darling. I think my adrenaline has finally ran out - because Jonas's schedule is killing me! I think he eats his weight in breastmilk every day! He is a chomper! Todd left for Detroit two days ago for the month of July. So it is just me and Jonas now...we are quite a pair! My day usually goes like this: bedtime at midnight, wake up at 2:00am, bed at 3:00, wake up at 5:00 and bring Jonas to my bed where we then sleep together until about 8:00 a.m. Then around 8:30 a.m. his little grunting noises finally pull me out of the deepest sleep and I change his diaper and he eats off and on ( he is a snacker) until around 10:30 a.m. eventually he goes to sleep about 11:30 a.m. and wakes up around 2:00 p.m. SO that is my life in a nutshell...meeting little Jonas' every need. He is the cutest. Olivia, my sister is a huge help. I call her the baby whisperer. She comes home around five and is able to calm him down even when he is in the most dreadful mood and screaming (not that it happens a lot right now...I am crossing my fingers).

The Windy City
Last weekend we went to Chicago......
We decided that we should take one last hurrah trip before we had to buckle down and be parents. I have always wanted to see the city and some of Todd's best friends live there: Ryan and Julie Hobbs. So it worked out perfectly - visiting friends and seeing the sights together. The first day we went to a Cubs game - they lost, but it was still good times! Wow, Wrigley Field has a spirit about it that pales to any corporate huge Chase Field Stadium like the D-Backs. Anyway, later on we saw Wicked and LOVED IT. The rest of the time we spent seeing the sights and walking among the work of the master's in the Chicago Museum of Fine Art. Ryan and Julie showed us a fabulous time. Julie is four weeks further along in her pregnancy - so she was a trooper to do all the walking that she did. I'll post a picture of the four of us below:
